whooo last post!

well i have just came back from finishing my loop for 2d and alt. and am not happy with the results being that my loop went to crap about 3:oo this morning and it was going so so awesome . fixing it was a exersize in frustration, but it is do and rather amusing in the end.

now onto prepro, i wish our group, lovely that they were, had more drive in it to get everthing done on time, so i wouldn't be sitting here like a zombie with dark marks around my eyes. i could vent more but i think other groups had it worse. the idea's in the videos about developing concept art were one of the big things that i will take with me this semester, and by take i mean i will copy them off the computah and do some art over the holidays, i havenot done any art for my self in soo long it is not funny. also i would kike to note that drawing for 12 hours a day for four days to get the concept book done is an excelent way to get in tune with your skills.
oh i want to add more but i desperatly meed some tender sleep for like day or two.
i dont have any thing on hand to put up for the blog artwise so i will give a link to my deviant account, everything gets put ther anyway.

what did you do, step in a pig?

Oh god i slacked off doing this journal, but i have been learning some neat stuff about storyboarding and a general going over how to produce an animatic. So all the things we were learning about breaking down a script, usage of shots, layout and colour and tonal value in creating a readable image came together nicely.
The animatic was done but i hurridly scanned all the pictures and they turned out horrible but useable i guess, maybe i should have done it in flash. Maybe.
I suppose if the timing is right i doesn't really matter.

we got into the awesome assignment of where we're going to work out the conceptual art for a live action version of a grimms fairytail. This is a group project so it will be excellent to bounce ideas and stuff off of the other members and get a feel for working as a team creating something.
it will be good practice for next year when we do our group movie.

• We watched a video on how a dude makes a picture of dinosaurs from thumbnail sketch to finished product.
• watched another video of how a dude works out works out designs and visual presentation of a car. both videos were rather interesting, i liked them.
• we were sent out to research out the insides of inns from around the time of the grimm brothers, as we are going to do a book of on a fairy tale from the grimm brothers. And was done but you did not see it. For shame.

6th of the 3rd of 2007

• we learned about script breakdowns and how the script goes through the production line as well as camera movments and shots
• we topped it off with a vidio on landscape design in photoshop, it was awesome but it was almost too fast to pick up the small things he did in photoshop. le' sigh.\
• homework was to breakdown two scripts.
